Hello,

I'm sure that I haven't made enough of an impact on this site for anyone to remember me, but I check in every now and then. I had a turbo GSR, then sold that and got an 03 Evo. Well, I couldn't stay away from the Honda/Acura thing, so I sold that and now I'm into my newest car, Type-R number 2000-602.

Here's a link to the rest of the pics and specs and such.

With the retune coming in the spring it should put out close to or over 500whp on high boost running race gas. Daily driving sees around 350ish whp (maybe a little less) on 14psi.

Anyway, I still have my dreams of owning an NSX, but realize it'll be a little bit before I get the chance to own one. Have way too many other things on the plate right now, but I love this site and love the NSX and hope to be a TRUE member of this community sometime in the future.

Thanks for allowing me to post my car,

Tyler

Well, I took it to the track once, but something is messed up in the tune because it was sputtering around 1/2 track and backfiring really bad. I backed off and only ran on low boost...babied it (thought I broke something and I still had to drive home) and ran a 13.5 at 112. It HAS run a 12.4 at 130 before, but not with me driving.

Car looks nice. I definitely like those headlights better than the U.S. spec. 130 mph  how many ponies are you running under there? More details on the engine spec, please.

Before next summer I'll be getting an exhaust dump operated by a switch, and the car will be retuned at AMS in Chicago. It'll still stay at 14psi on pump gas, but it will be tuned with the full exhaust (dump closed...originally it was tuned with open downpipe). Then I'll be getting the C16 map redone to accomodate more boost (hopefully close to 25psi) with the exhaust dump open. That should give somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-540whp, judging on other people's setups.

NIce car. When those came out a buddy of mine turbo'd his 97 Type R. At the time, I could never understand why somebody would buy a limited edition, high compression car only to lower the compression and turbo it. It doesn't matter anymore because the B18C5 CR isn't considered that high anymore.
