Since so many people have shown such a positive response to our meet at Top Speed this past Sunday, we are prepared to offer the use of our building, facilities, and grounds for car teams, clubs, and groups to hold their own gatherings, meets, and shows!
Here's the deal: we are willing to have up to two of these events per month at Top Speed's office / warehouse / showroom. Each one would be discussed and planned on an individual basis and with sufficient advanced notice...first come, first served. We will have rules that groups and their member's guests would have to agree to and abide by (no racing, clean up / pick up all of your own equipment, trash, etc...).
We would open our facilities and remain on premises to answer questions about our products, but the group, team, or club holding the gathering would be responsible for bringing / providing / supplying all of their own food, drinks, cups, utensils, entertainment (if any), trophies (if any), etc... Top Speed would only supply the grounds for holding the event, and air conditioned or heated facilities for use inside (bathrooms, kitchen, refrigerator, meeting area, available tables & chairs, etc...)
We are not designating any sort of mandatory minimum size of show at this time, but since we have so much room, it seems logical to use it for less-often held or special event types of meets or shows.
Our warehouse area has ample parking for many cars and we are a private property location in such proximity to Addison Airport so noise complaints from nearby residents is a non-existent issue. Local police would be provided notice of each event, as they were made aware of ours, just to help keep everyone safe...and trouble-makers away.
There will be no charge for use of our place, but signing a waiver of liability and advance collection of a fully refundable clean up deposit (like maybe $100 bucks) would be required...but we feel that's being reasonable. You clean up after yourself, you get the $100 back.
As far as dates...almost any Saturday & Sunday day or evening. Current unavailable dates would include previously planned dates that we will be involved at other events (WekFest, DI Palooza / NOS Energy Nights, Import Face-Off, etc...)
