Just was wondering if anyone has tried a led or something different in their daytime driving lights?
Saw a 12 led white 1156 this weekend.
Whatcha buy? How'd it look?

I've got a set of Eurolites hyperwhite 1156s' in mine. They give the DRL housing a slight blue tinge when off, and a nice, white light while on.

Those are the one's I saw at JB's Automotives here in Edmonton.
They where about $16.00 each and I think had 12 Leds.
I have an email into superbrightleds to see what they have and price.
I am going to do the led upgrade as follows and from this link that starts out talking about a bulb thats not for the front of our car - the ole 1157.

Parking lamps: 2 x WLED6 (white) $2.34 each - US Funds
Festoon interior: 6 x 3022-4 (white) $3.64 each
License plate: 2 x WLED-W4 (white) $2.34 each
Sidemarkers: 2 x WLED 6-LED (red)
2 x WLED 6-LED (amber)
Daytime Driving Lights: 2 x 1156 Led Model? - Just to whiten the light and a little brighter.

The ones I've got aren't LED, they're a regular 1156 bulb with a tinted cover, kind of like These. They're quite eye catching and bright.

just waiting for an email back for superbrightleds so i can order them all.
Of course will do the pics and what not.

Is your car out yet, Dan? Mine's dirrrrty!

Nope:frown: I'm hoping to go to where it's stored sometimes this weekend and charge up the battery. I'll put insurance back on it next weekend and drive it home. Depending on the weather, I'll start driving it in April.

It has been almost 6 months since I drove it .... way too long.:frown:
Hoping to put some serious miles on it this summer.

I'd be interested in hearing the feedback also.
