wondering how difficult, and what wheel would you recommend, i would like to keep the cruise control and horn functions, obviously i don't care about the air bag. thanks for any help or info you can give me.

You will first need a hub that is uses the factory wire reel. The TAITEC hub will allow you to wire both horn and cruise control:

We customize a wheel to use both the horn and cruise. The one we have on the website has the NSX-R horn kit and the buttons installed. It would be about $200 less w/o the NSX-R horn button:
