I'm taking it next month and I was wondering if you have any helpful tips. My friend says it's really easy, but it's been a while since I've taken any type of standardized test.

California Basic Education Skills Test. Successful completion of the exam allows you to begin teaching here in California and is also a step towards attaining your teaching credentials.
I took it years ago, after having been out of school for about 6 years. Get the CBEST study guide that is available at most bookstores. Also see if you can get a high school senior to tutor you!
