Hi
The car I bought was repainted and appears (to me, I'm picky) that the drivers side door is about 1mm out of adjustment (the gap between the door and front fender is about 2mm wider than the gap between the door and the rear fender. I would like to move the door forward 1mm. I can see the bolts, and I can see them in the service manual, but how do I get to them? Any special wrench I can use? From which direction do I get at them? The manual just says to loosen them.
I'm beginning to think that I will have to remove the door from the car first, move the hinges forward, replace the door, and repeat until it is correct. Anybody have a trick to do this while leaving the door on the car?
Thanks for your time
Andy
