Bob, have you ever tried to compare this with the typical lap timers you ziptie to the car?

I compared it to a setup I rented at NJMP during NSPXO 2011 that required a full video camera mounted on my windshield combined with an antenna affixed to my roof with cables/wires hanging down and that setup required the vendor to then do a manual overlay between the video and data. It took him a couple of tries to sync the vid and data.

Harry's does everything with the iphone mounted and one button sync to do overlay so much simpler and an in hi def.

Here is the end result of what I had rented at NJMP:

The downside of the iphone use of Harry's is the size of the overlaid file is approximately 450mb per lap so with a 16gb iphone 4s I have severe memory limitations.

Yes, Harry's lap timer is awesome, especially considering value. Google satellite map overlays, Excel imports and charting, synching up with video, fantastic for the price. Does what data acq apps costing $thousands just a few years ago do. Very easy to use, worth every penny. My son and I have been able to analyze our laps and compare corner apex speeds, late apex vs. momentum lines, etc. I highly recommend it.
