Hell My kids want to Celebrate anything...
My oldest wanted to celebrate Millard Filmore (sp?) day.
I know he was a president, that is about all.

I think it's celebrated for different reasons here.
As a kid, I always trick or treated never really knowing the real reason for Halloween. As an adult my kids are the same, they are in it for the candy. No religious convictions, no political convictions, just plain old lust for candy.
Of course I follow them with a Wildey. For safety you understand. Just in case there are real gobblins.
