Hama Mount ???

For those of you that recommended and/or have the hama mount, what did you do to get it to hold better? The suction cup would barely hold a twinkie let alone a palm size camera. I can forsee it falling down alot up at vir. Oh yea, already did the water trick. Any other suggestions?

Be sure that the surface you use is clean and plain. Glass is best - metal is not as good because it often has some kind of structure that destroys the vacuum. You may also use some spitting out of your mouth to prepare the suction cup instead of water - no joke, it works.

I changed my suction cup on mine to a vacuum pump type. Here is a good thread to read on it. I also had mentioned this in your original thread when you inquired about the hama mount.

NSXRacer, the spit trick worked. Mount never budged at vir and i got some really good video footage.
