And this has happened...

I always park far away and where I usually take the NSX I park next to the bushes and the place is only 5 miles away so this definitely didn't happen there. But I didn't notice this until Friday night when I got home and I had it parked at an apartment complex the night before, directly in front of the apartment I was staying at (didn't notice it when I got in that day to drive back home, only saw it when I got out that night). What's irritating is that I can tell the guy tried to wipe the marks away but failed. He obviously didn't leave any information and took off. So I don't know who did it, just saw it the next day. It's unfortunate because now I have to deal with this the hard way. I guess I can't complain too much, it could be worse. My door and driver side could be destroyed and luckily it isn't.

This isn't the first time something like this happened to me. A few months after owning my Supra MKIV, some guy was looking down and coasted into me in a parking lot and I had nowhere to go so I ended up being hit. Also, when I first bought my G35, someone keyed the hood within a few months. I was also hit by a girl at a stoplight who let off her brakes and bumped into me. Just dumb things. I have terrible luck with these things and I know many on here have had similar experiences.

I want to fix it but it will need paint and I just don't have time for it right now. The door will be pricey. I enjoy driving the car and I know I'm not doing it justice by driving with it beat up, but oh well. I figured I would post this so that if my NSX ever ends up in the hands of someone else down the road (doubt it... want to keep it forever =D), then this will be valuable information for them. And at least they can know I am not trying to hide this.

The door will be pricey.

Bummer on the hit and run. On the upside: 1. There's no way that small dent will require a whole new door! That's an easy repair. 2. It looks like the damage is limited to the door, and your rear panel got away with no damage.

Man, sorry about your luck. Has your car already been repainted? It already looks a little mismatched. The reason I ask is now might be the right time to fix other paint issues. Best of luck!

Looks like super small chip on fender, but id put touch up paint there, not paint the entire fender. Sucks you had a white one too :(.

There is a part in the picture where it is really white because that's where they tried to wipe the marks away. That's why it looks mismatched. The picture really only shows the dent, but there are more marks on it. The car is dirty so I need to clean it and see if I can get the marks off and then go from there with touch up paint.
