Just some information that I've found (wishing I knew before)

H&R sells these for the S2000, but they should fit our NSX fronts if you have the room in your wheel pads.

part no. 4065700
5x114.3
70.1 bore
12 x 1.5
DRM
20 mm

PS: anyone interested in H&R 25mm spacers/adapters for the fronts?

Hmm. I was on the phone with Livermore Performance www.livermoreperformance.com just now, and asked about this part. The guy said they wouldn't work as far as he knew.

The guy is not familiar with the NSX though, so I am wondering if you know for sure that these work from personal experience.

Crap. They don't fit my car. I have an '05 with stock wheels. I took my car and the new H&R Wheel Spacers adapters (PN 4065700) to Ramon and they don't work. The 25mm worked fine on the rears, but not these 20mm on the front. Ramon put the wheel adaptor on but when he went to put the OEM wheel on, the studs from the wheel (not the adaptor) hit the back of the wheel.

How come they worked for you guys? Do you have non stock wheels??

Anyone want to buy them from me? I paid $162.32 for them.

So, I called LPI racing and indeed they won't take the adaptors back but Steve suggested I get the studs cut. I may go that route.

EDIT: I won't be cutting up my pristine NSX.

Oh. I need to find someone with a similar deal who wants to buy the spacers from me. Know anyone?

I received this PM on 4-5-2010, and thank you, for it, aridon99. It is exactly correct.

I think you mean that the original studs from the car stick out just far enough out of the spacer that they hit the wheel, keeping it from sitting flush against the spacer. That is the #1 reason folks go 25mm all the way around.

So, here's my next question. People who do have the 25mm all the way around, how is the clearance for your front tires?? At the South Coast Acura meet in Costa Mesa, CA last Thursday, a few of us discussed this dilemma I have, and one guy said his front tires rubbed when he had 25 mm spacers. I have OEM '05 wheels on my '05. I am still trying to solve this front spacer problem with out rubbing. Another option is to put 15mm spacers on, but put new studs in my OEM wheel.

I appreciate any help, Prime that is relevant to my '05 OEM set-up.

And, please, give me a little slack if my wording isn't quite up to par. I am a girl and I am learning.

Here are some photos for anyone curious...

^Rear spacers on, nuts are tightened on original studs. Studs sticking out are the ones that come in the spacers, that the wheel now attaches to.

^Front spacer on, without the nuts on the original wheel spacers. Once the nuts were put on, the studs still stuck out too far for the OEM wheel to sit flush, hitting the back of the wheel.

With OEM 16's up front, 25mm spacers(all round)and Bridgestone RE010's in 215/45 it barely rubs on sharp turns(ie. doing a u-turn or some such). I will be switching to 205/45's shortly in RE760 Sports(they don't come in 215/45) which should solve the rubbing. To stick with the stock size in 17's up front you would probably have to go with 15mm spacers instead of 25's.

P.S. My car is lowered with Eibach Pro's as well. Rubbing may not be an issue with stock ride height.

I guess some of you never read my spacer thread elsewhere. I've done TONS of homework on what fits and what does not and a lot of it has to do with what brand wheels you are using.

First go read this thread as it has tons of good info:

Kyras: If you sell them for a good price I might take them.... :)

FYI: s2000 and NSX use exactly the same sizing so they are INTERCHANGEABLE!!! 70.1mm front center bore, 64 rear center bore.

The reason some of you guys are having problems is an s2000 OEM ap2v2 wheels have deep holes cut into the wheel so it will allow the oem studs that poke out (anything less than 25mm will protrude) to recess into the holes.

Unfortunately s2000 ap2v3 and NSX 2002+ OEM wheels DO NOT have these recessed holes thus any spacer less than 25mm in thickness will not cover the oem studs. This means anyone with aftermarket wheels, please check the back of your wheel first before buying the 20mm spacers or you may have to grind it off the studs to clear.

See if these pictures I have make sense:

25mm spacers = see how the oem studs are fully covered due to the thickness:

s2000 wheel on left has recessed holes (notice the marker) vs. the 2002+ nsx wheel on the right does NOT have the recessed holes:

Oh and this is how 2002+ NSX wheels look on an s2000, perfect offset, no adapters needed:

A girl that has an NSX and is involved enough with it to do her own online research... that must bring all the boys to the yard!

Another solution for those with 02-up wheels is to have the wheels machined between the bolt holes (the pockets are there , only they need to be made 5mm deeper , removing this material will not have any effect on anything and IMO is prefereable to grinding / cutting the studs.

Or simply use 25mm spacers.

thanks guys for the above info on fitting the 20mm spacers of s2k to the NSX.

Does anyone know if the stock OEM 16"/17" 7 spoke combo have deep enough pockets to run the 20mm spacers?

Cheers
