From two different time periods... but both good times.  I do prefer a manual for pleasure/"spirited" street driving.  I havent gone to a track yet, but I can see the reasons behind sequentials/dual clutch transmissions.  Never missing a shift, auto rev match, lightening fast shifts... so you can concentrate on lines and accel/braking.  But there is something about rowing my own gears that makes driving... well driving!
