Makes me wonder how R&D got there results
http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?section_id=31&article_id=7074

only 1.5sec faster then stock NSX-T, while being 300lbs lighter, NSX-R chassis, and extra 130hp from a turbo.

They mentioned the Spoon NSX-R GT was nervous around the corners. There are others factors to be considered. For instance it didn't get to stretch its legs due to tight race course. Power is no use if you can't use it.

Put Billy Johnson in the driver seat, maybe he can trim a few more seconds.

Okay I thought I noticed that as well as the driver went pretty heavy on the brakes and seemed to be going slower through the turns.

Not really a vs vid more of a comparison. Hey is this article in this months R&T?

The article says the STOCK NSX was nervous around the corners.

They said the NSX-R GT exhibited "rock-solid stability through every corner on the track".

1 word: Journalists.

Times:

R&T: CCW, WITHOUT blow-by (without makes a corner a simple 90* corner, with blow-by turns that corner into a 90* corner in the opposite direction, then an additional 180* hairpin resulting in 1.5-2 seconds slower).

Stock NSX: 1:33.8
NSX-R GT: 1:32.8

Stock GTR: 1:30
Mines GTR: 1:26

GT Channel: Clockwise, WITH the 1.5-2 second slower 'blow-by' section of the track.

Stock NSX: not sure
NSX-R GT: 1:25 -Tyler McQuarrie
NSX-R GT: 1:29 - Billy Johnson goofing off, coasting through the downhill esses and avoiding large rocks that was kicked up onto the track -as per Spoon's request (not going for laptime but video reconnaissance)

Mines GTR: 1:25

Factor X NSX: ;)
