I've been reading over the forums here for sometime now but this is my first post. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the GruppeM intake. I am curious to how it is designed and put together. If anyone has any that would be great and any of the intake on the car would be great as well. Thanks, take care.

Conor,

The GruppeM intake is constructed from Carbon kevlar, and the quality of construction is also top notch.

It uses a HUGE K&N filter that looks like a turbine fan, which makes a turbine sound when you accelerate :D

You sure that turbine sound aint comin from that big silver snail lookin thing to the right of the intake? Haha... j/k :D

Thanks!

ZRO260B4U,

Thanks for the picture. The thing looks amazing! Is it a two piece system or is it all contained inside there? What do you do when you need to clean the filter? Thanks in advance.

Conor,

The GruppeM intake breaks down into three pieces:

1. front cone piece/air chamber.
2. Turbine K&N air filter.
3. intake piece/rear piece.

The intake filter can be removed be simply taking off the front piece and removing three small screws that is attached on the outer ring of the rear intake piece. Very simple to do!

DeNguyen,

I can't hear that turbine wine noise from the blower, because it is over powered by the noise from my exhaust:D
