Go to court. It's always worth it. And don't forget to dress nicely. Once I wore my gym clothes to court and the judge didn't seem to care about my arguments at all. Last time I went to court, I wore a nice suit and the judge just let me off the hook as soon as he saw me walking in. Maybe he was in good mood that day but I found out that some of my friends had similar experiences. I think it somewhat does matter that you present yourself as someone who looks like a 'good and law abiding citizen' Does this make any sense???
