Exact same body.

7336 accepts up to 6 inch diameter mounting pads because of its larger counterweight.

7424 can handle up to 5 inches due to a smaller counterweight.

The counterweights are also sold separately by Porter Cable.

I think the 7424 comes with "car polishing" accessories while the 7336 and 7335 comes with "sander" accessories.

The unit itself is exactly the same, just different accessories and counterweight.

Either way you will probably buy aftermarket backing plates and pads. Most pads are light enough where 5 or 6 inch counter weight won't matter.

This is a GREAT PRODUCT !!! I've been using it for years !!!

I want to apologize:redface:My intentions were not to hijack your thread I was under the under standing that you had gotten a deal on a few of these buffers and wanted to get rid of them.I am looking at getting one myself by the time I saw the thread all 4 were already spoken for. I did not realize that you sell them.
