Amazing weather on Mount Rainier the last two days. TonyD was brave enough to be my co-pilot this morning to watch the sunrise which involved leaving our lodge at 4:00am to make the climb to 6400 feet to Sunrise Point. The only downside was trying to get back down since nobody told us that if we did not return before 9:00 am the road would be closed for construction. That took us over 100 miles out of our way for a little "detour".

A few shots from and of the mountain.

Love the new "banned" ninja Monkey Avatar. It's amazing what you can find when stuck in PDX for 7 hours :eek:
