Great PC Game - Pro Race Driver

If u got too much spare time at work, or your NSX is garaged, seriously check out this game: PRO RACE DRIVER.

It's not an arcade racing game, nor a simulation... somewhere in between. You can tweak the gears/suspension/brakes in the pits. The graphics are BEAUTIFUL & it genuinely feels like track racing (no fictional alpine snow races like NFS) and the sound is AWESOME: when u slide sideways the tires make that jagged-skid sound. The car literally disintegrates (wipers flew off once, and even had my rear bumper dragging on the road), as do competition cars (i rammed a Z06 and the entire back came off... always wanted to do that

)

i haven't had as much fun playing a car game as this for a long time... highly recommended!

Agreed! I have been hooked since day one! Have you driven the Lotus Elise??? The breaks are unreal. Wait until you get to the Lola Championship!

i accidentally got version 1 of the demo!

so i'm stuck driving a Supra.

i'm considering buying this when it comes out... the demo is THAT GOOD. Finally a racing game that has the right balance of fun + simulation. Plus i *LOVE* the damage and the sound effects (sounds like Getaway in Stockholm!!!)


Apparently this is for PS2 as well. I've love someone who has played Grand Turismo to try this and post comments... since that seems to be 'THE' racing game.
