Got my silver 99 with 6 speed manual transmission yesterday

Car had 52k miles and looks and drives like new. Took a 90 mile
round trip to visit a friend today for a test drive.

I did notice at 70mph that the rpms are around 2,800. Didn't notice
noise but it was a surprise the rpms were that high.

Looked up the gear ratios and 6th speed is overdrive. However, noticed the
differential ratio is 4.0:1. That explains it. That is a high ratio. Old corvettes
used to come with a 4:11 for quick acceleration. The NSX is geared like that
to get the most HP out of the v6 I would guess.

Also recall that this is out of an 8,000 rpm redline...so it may not be pushrod V8 highway overdrive rpms but...
