I'm now... rather happy!!

Will do the following mods : add new car stereo (Sony MEX-1HD), change wheels (maybe for the Honda NSX original 17 inches). And one day, will change brakes for better ones..

The facts : 1992, 130'000 km, Remus exhauts, Moss Security Alarm, No accidents. I'm the third owner; car is in excellent condition!

I'll add other pictures when the stereo will be ready.. and others with new wheels!

see ya!

Congrats to your sweet car, looks really clean! :) Hope to see you the next Swiss meeting. :)

Hi Zim,

Congratulations and welcome ! Our NSX are sisters of wheels !

I had the same wheels when I bought my NSX 7 years ago but with the center painted in black and polished lip. I use them as track wheels now.

Zim, congrats!!! I would love to drive my NSX on amazing roads in Switzerland.

How does your NSX compare to your Espace? A bit faster?

Congrats!! Enjoy the drive... :D

Here are new pics, taken just before I parked the car for winter.

As you certainly saw it, there is still no frame around the autoradio. It should arrive soon...

Next year I plan to change rims for BBS RXs 18" and 17", hope it will be cool..

PS. Yes, I changed the license plate...

Congratulations! Very nice pics... I love the Swiss plates.

While I'm not a big fan of the wheels but I can see the appeal they may have to some; they look a lot like the OEM testarossa wheels:

Did you know that you can drive your car in Europe for 2 years on your plates as long as you are only here for business or pleasure (not moving here...)? No import tax, no bond, no customs, no inspection, nothing.
The container transport is expensive though, and you have to organise insurance with your insurance company.

Oh man, after 10 years of dreaming? That's intense...

You must be more happy than me, I dreamed of it for 3 years, hehe...

Congratulations, very happy for you

Nuttin but smiles!
Very nice car and isn't it FUN to be happy?

Keep posting photos of your changes - we all
like to see what others do to their NSX's.

Welcome Zim!

Nice car! Thanks for posting!

I don't think you will need to waste any money on a brake upgrade, there is no need to upgrade the brakes unless you are seriously tracking your car. An NSX here in Australia did the Bathurst 24hr race on the stock '91 brakes! and OEM 15/16 rims! If you are going to track your car try some competition pads first! The OEM NSX brakes are awesome.

Agree with the decision for some new wheels though...

Tanh you guys !

Now "she" is staying inside during winter, so I can organize myself to find her new rims.. I'm thinking of BBS RXS or Barracuda Indy, 18" and 17"..

Honda announced me they should receive my NSX car cover on next monday, i'm curious to see it !

Now, i'm also looking for a solution to start the engine, as my alarm is locked (I disconnected the main battery and apparently the settings disappeared.. but some nices guys gave me tricks that i'll apply soon and see if it can solve the prob.. otherwise will I change for a new alarm - I'm doing investigations now - , i'll keep you informed, with some new pics

Hi!

Winter is finished so i could take my X out of the garage... Here are some pictures showing my new mods !

Just ouf of the garage :

That's my car cover.. It's "NS-X" cover, done by covercar from Italy. Costed me about 320 USD. Of course, it's only for indoor use!

My new setup is :

Rims
Front : 5Zigen Pro Racer GN+ 17x7.5
Rear : 5Zigen Pro Racer GN+ 18x8.5

Tires
Front : Bridgestone RE050A 215/40/17
Rear : Bridgestone RE050A 245/35/18

I'm lovin' it!!

what a difference the new rims make:eek: Those old ones were awful.

Hi

Nice with the new wheels.

I like that car cover. (as I have the same one only in flashy read)

Regards

I feel guilty, I was only dreaming of an nsx for 6 months prior to purchasing mine ;)

The car looks great, definitly an improvement with the new rims, although the old ones had sort of a 'euro flair' to them... maybe they would have looked better with a polished lip?

New wheels look great, but you need drop it a good inch and it will look perfect.
