When I arrived to my car after conference: I saw this black mark. My heart stopped. Asked our company valet guy if he saw or knew anything, and you guessed it, he has no idea.

Should the person is aware that he/she hit my car, I hope a degree of remorse is in conscience.

I strategically choose the spot to avoid door dings etc, plus the car is parked right in front of the valet... Just to show you, no matter how careful you are- it'll happen :frown:

sorry to hear (see) that. thank GOD no fender bent.

looks like a tire mark. was there any full size SUV or H2 around???

but look in the bright side/ maybe it's a perfect time to upgrade to an 02 Rear vallance  since your getting the bumper repainted

it's all good...

We need these guys on it!

Man, that's horrible though! I wouldn't be disappointed in that someone didn't leave a note, I am betting they didn't even know they "bumped" into your NSX!?! (going by tire-size/rubber-marks... ignorant SUV driver or delivery/commercial vehicle)

Almost seems not worth even reporting to insurance, of-course dependant on your deductable. Was this a paid/private lot (ie. requiring badge/sticker)?

I hate that!
My wifes Lexus was hit while parked on the street last Sunday.
(Hit & run)
(2005 RX330 with 5000 miles! )
$2500 in damage $1000 deductable. Eye wittness botched the lic. number.
Am on the look out for a full sized white van and have a partial lic. #.
Man I am pissed!

Also install car alarm so other people will know if someone has done something on your car.

Odd looking damage.
My first impression was that your car backed and/or "rubbed" into something. Looks like it was backed into a concrete wall, a post or a telephone pole and the driver misjudged how close they were, scraping the bumper cover.
I can't figure how another car did that. Maybe the side of a p/u or SUV tire?
You sure the valet didn't move your car?
In any case, it looks like it's new bumper time. :frown:
Sorry for your problem.

Sorry to see that happen to you. Did the valet guy have access to the car? usually they are the reason why cars get messed up.

I'm sorry to see that man
Thanks Dave, but it could be worse. Like someone mention above, at least it is not aluminum.

The valet does not have my keys and yes, most likely its an SUV or a large sedan. The place I work at is a medical center and most of our clientele are seniors as you can see below. Not saying they are responsible, but I'll bet a farm that the odds are against them.

Sorry to see that happen, but looking at the bright side, the damage is very minor. It will look absolute perfect again in no time.

You do need an alarm, it will attract attention when someone trigger the alarm, it may not always help, but in certain situations it will. 2 way paging is even more helpful.

I have pager alarm on both of my NSX and Supra, the Supra alarm get triggered a few times a week since it is my daily beater, I drive it everywhere while still parking extremely carefully. When the alarm goes off it would show 2 stages of warning, caused by very light vibration (loud car/bike exhaust) or a real hit. I usually ignore the 1st stage warning, but when the 2nd stage warning goes off, I am really to take action. I have actually caught door dingers in time and got them to pay for the paintless dent removal thanks to pager alarm.

terrible! :frown:

its especially bad because the car was out of your hands when it happened...
but like you said atleast it wasnt any aluminum and simply the abs bumper..

YIKES!! That looks like my car. Sorry to hear about that, man. Some people just do not respect others property.
