I'll be there Friday night for a few hours before going to Mexico, any good bars/lounges/restaurants to check out?

if your not wanting to go to far from the airport then you need to go to the International mall almost on the same strip of land the airport is on.

there are lots of great places to eat and shop there.

I was just at the Cheescake Factory, wow the pressed cuban sandwich was the bomb. and the buffalo bites yikes, and the drinks were very strong and I have the gut like a lead belly LOL.

and then there is the gentlemens club across the street from the mall on westshore,
steak Filets and nude tits/ass nice combo

Ocean Prime - near International Mall -a bit pricey, but very good food.
Ruth's Chris - on Westshore near the above - traditional steakhouse.
Capital Grill - in International Mall. I think a better steak than Ruth's Chris.
All the above are 10 minutes from TPA.
Beaune's - Ybor City area - very good food, very reasonable prices, great wines. Wine Spectator award winner. 20-25 minutes from airport.
What price range and type of cuisine? How much time between flights?
Gentleman's Club for dessert!

May depend on how much time you have in between flights...I second the umm Gentlemens Clubs.

Depends on the girl...because mine doesn't mind.

Sounds like you will have some time to check out a variety of stuff.

Personally, I think Bern's is over-rated and not worth the money. Great wine collection, though.
Mis en Place is another VERY good restaurant within 10-12 minutes of the airport worth considering.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, went to Seasons 51, across the street from the Intercontinental. Great place, shame we have none in NJ :frown:

Seasons 52 (as in 52 weeks in a year). It is a very good restaurant and healthy if you care about that sort of thing:wink:.
