I've been buying misc parts from Del Ray, but is there a good local place anywhere between SF and perhaps San Mateo to buy OEM parts? paying for shipping on 10 gallons of coolant is crazy and if there's a place that supports NSX owners, I'm all for supporting them back in return

d.n. I think that Tim Poliniak with whom many of our fellow Primers are familiar (1 866 347-8355) gives 25% off list with free shipping. In fact, a couple of months ago I ordered 11 quarts of trans fluid for my TL from him and indeed no shipping charge. I forget which dealer he is affiliated with but his service was terrific.

Too bad I already ordered. From the charts it looks like I can mix ~5gal of water for every 1 gal of Amsoil so I'd only need 2gallons of amsoil. Am I reading that correctly? That would have saved a chunk of change. The fact that it makes the treehuggers happy is good too although I really wonder about just putting the used stuff down the drain....
I wonder what BATMANs commission on Amsoil products is?
I'm thinking its a pretty hefty spiff.

Okay so I found out Serramonte Acura (ask for Victor), is also able to offer a discount for NSX owners for those in the north bay / peninsula.
One of the parts counter guys, Victor, is apparently a former tech at Hilltop and is also quite an enthusiast. I went in to order some Integra parts also while I was in there and he was able to give a discount for NSX owners. They can't offer the same pricing as Tim Proliniak (not to mention having to pay tax) but it's nice to be able to pick up a part locally in a pinch have it in next day if it's not in stock. He was also nice enough to let me compare spool valve gaskets between a 91 and a 96 to see how they were different when I ordered the wrong parts online.
