Golf Course in San Antonio

I will be down that way this month and looking for a good (public) course to play. Anyone suggest one?

LaCantera is a great place to play. The tour has a stop there.

I'm sure someone else can chime in with some suggestions.

Newport Dunes on Mustang Island. Its 3 hours south east of SA, but well worth the drive. It is a new course, Arnold Palmer designed, and while challenging, it is nice to play. http://newportdunesgolf.com/layout10.asp?id=190&page=4467 is the link.

The Quarry is not worth the look! San Antonio has lots of great golf courses! Here's my list to play in order: Im playing Olympia Hills this weekend !

( Not long but it has tight fairways guarded by well-placed bunkers )

La Cantera looks super nice but $125 is more than I want to spend.

Pecan Valley looks nice too and for $67 is better on the wallet.
