So which way and times is the golden gate bridge traffic clogged up in the mornings and evenings or is it both ways (North and Southbound)? ..anyone...anyone...bueller?

Which direction are you interested in? Usually GGB traffic is not really an issue in either direction.
Just like the 101, it's more crowed in the morning coming into the City and more crowed in the evening going out of the city. The trafic is nothing like the Bay Bridge.
so from this i guess heading out in the morning doesn't add to a commute. i hate traffics
Don't you live in the South Bay? Where is your starting point?
Got a new gig in Ignacio (northbay) so I'm going to move somewhere and San Rafael I heard is no place to live if you require an IV drip that's saline and bourbon
So I'm guaging the commute.

Dont you guys have live traffic cams out there which you can access from the web ? I did a search but the live cam seems to be only a still shot
Poster above is correct... Google for GG Bridge traffic cam. IMHO GGB traffic is never really bad unless there's an accident. I live 10 min N of GGB.
thx guys i also asked my buddy who lives there and he says its a reverse commute to north bay from sf in the mornings. generally no delays
