Going to rent a track for the day. anyone interested?

Myself and about 8-9 other guys are going to all kick in and rent a track for a full day. So far it looks like there will be 3-4 ford GT's (mostly highly modded... enormous power!) plus a couple nsx's and whatever else shows up.

RIght now its $3k for the day.. 8-9 hours of continuous track time! So of the guys who are definitively going... probably $250-$300ish each This is NOT a NASA or SCCA event. Just a bunch of guys with nothing else to do.

From what i understand, the track (don't know name.. i forgot) is near vegas.

Looking (tentatively) like january.

Anyone who's ever complained you don't see enough track time at events... you can literally drive for 8 hours (or till your gas tank runs out!) straight.

Details as they arrive... but any interest? I'm in for sure. just looking for some nsx representatives!!

Yes, Spring Mountain. I've been told it's about an hour out of Vegas.

Supposedly incredible track, with very nice non-track extras.

Feb 10/11 (10th is the track day, 11th is a group drive and some other stuff).

I'm going to have to take work off friday, and drive up Thursday evening.

I'm going to email the event coordinator in the next few days to see if he minds if a few non ford gt guys show up.

Spring Mountain is a great track.
I go there often.

Yes, it's about 40 minutes out of Vegas off Hwy 160/Pahrump

North, South and Radical Loop, all are great courses.

Put all 3 together and it makes for a very challenging course.

I'll place you on our provisional reservations list. We have very limited space (about 40 cars), We already have 20 after the second day after my announcement with nearly three months to go. I don't want to open the invitation up to to many at this early stage, but if we find we are not filling up by the end of December, we can extend the invitation to others in your group. Looks like a LOT of fun. Some seriously nice cars will be there.. mostly Ford GT's i think with some other (nsx---me) cars thrown in for good measure.
