Go see - "The Transporter"

[Timeless]

No matter what the critic's say, I had FUN seeing the new movie The Transporter. It is filmed in "NICE" and has plenty of action. Martial arts, car chases, nice co-star...from the makers of "LaFemme Nikita" and "The Professional". GO SEE IT and have FUN, don't pick-it-a-part, like the critic's did. I'd like to hear your feedback...

Well, I have to say it was just "OK". The car-chase scenes were top notch and only some of the fight sequences were great, but the overall plot and acting were just awful.

The whole oil-wrestling part was just waaay over the top for me.

The one redeeming factor which kept me in my seat, was the incredibly hot asian co-star.

My vote: wait for the rental.

What about "The Knockaround Guys" (Vin Diesel)? It looks kinda good with a workable plot.

I saw it last opening weekend and although the story and dialogue are really bad, the action makes it well worth the money. My impression of it is that its like a rougher tougher version of a jackie chan movie.

BTW, the main character is bad-ass!

the chick in the movie did some spread photos some years ago before she became famous. she's well known in taiwan and hong kong.(just to let know, if not interested then I apologize)

I think Hsu Chi is the Cantonese name she took when she moved to HK. It happened to also be the name of a famous director, so she switched to Shu Qi. Her early movies will have her name as Hsu Chi. She has been the biggest female movie star in HK for a few years. While nudity is what made her famous, she no longer does it.

Just came back from watching this movie. My friends and I laughed our asses off in the theater along with all the others who were watching. This movie is funny in all the wrong ways.
