Go fast parts: best mod order?

Ok, my title may have been confusing... I wanted to see what others feel is the most ideal order in which to modify your NSX. I would prefer opinions from people who are more performance and race minded than appearance minded. Budget would be a consideration as well.

Here is the order in which I have modded my car so far... some mods happened in this order due to financial constraints.

1. K&N intake (Andrie sold me used)
* mini weight reduction. engine cover,spare tire etc.
2. Eibach+Koni
3. Dali Street/Race Sways
4. 17/18 rims (Volk Engineering TE-37s)
5. Window Tint

6. Taitec GT exhaust

My new wishlist for the next few mods include:

DC Headers
Racing Seat (Sparco,Momo, or Recaro..don't care as long as comfortable and functional)
Steering wheel
Big Brake Kit <- I really want this, but too expensive.
Gears <- also too expensive
 
as far as making your car better at the track, I would go "inside out"

1. racing seats
2. racing steerign wheel
3. harness kit

The car handles quite good, and power is ok by modern standards. So by making your "office" a more suitable place to "work" in, this will imporve your efficiency.

Now after you think you've reached the limit, or at least have "become one" with the car, you can start play around with major mods. I would go like this:

1. adjustable suspension components
2 brakes

Now your car should be really fast at the track. Always worry about power after the chassis has be tuned.

I have to agree with the prior post. If I had the money I would go for that Tien suspension. I have learned that by slightly reducing the weight of a car and improving its handling you can cut track times alot; and afterall, isn't the NSX about performance driving and not straight line speeds? It would be interesting to put an NSX with moderate engine mods (i.e. intake, exhaust, chip) vs. an NSX with a good suspension upgrade on a GT type track.

MaoMao, do you know any good racing seats that are reasonably cheap but comfortable and effective? I looked at some sparco seats they ranged from $270~$600 or so.
Since I've never used one for a long period of time, its hard for me to know which is better and why. If you have any good suggestions on seats, I'd appreciate it!
 
I agree with MaoMao's analogy. The steering wheel is an excellent place to start, and is relatively inexpensive with a ScienceofSpeed steering hub kit and Sparco wheel for about $300.

Regardless of money, this is the order that I would go for performance without too much on appearance. (and will go this way once I get the NSX, will take me a while to get them all though)

1)Simple weight reduction by taking out parts or things in stock car
2)ECU
3)Headers & exhaust
4)Air intake
and eventually, when Iget gobs of money
5)japanese short gears
6)CLutch
7)Oil pump upgrades
8)Internal Tuning

I would go this route because even with the increase in speed, the stock suspension system, should still hold up well until you got the money to modify them. The last performance mod I would personally get, financially, would be the supercharger or TT.

In terms of track or racing purposes, the interior should be done first, I agree, have to get in all the safety stuff in there if you plan to track drive this car.

Just my opinion.

I agree with George.

Go from inside out. Number one is the driver, and to get yourself comfortable in the car. What I mean by comfortable is not luxury and relax, rather correct driving position and support. This way u can concentrate in driving rather than fighting to stay in your place.
