Does anyone know how to fix the glove box problem when it completely fell off. The hinges fell off and Acura wants $700 to replace the whole glove box. I wonder if replacing the whole glove box is necessary?? Or is there any option to the glove box??? I have turned off the srs since my installation of aftermarket steering wheel. Will taking out the air bag on passenger side cause a problem??? Since passenger airbag is really taking up extra spaces and air bag doesnt work, can glove box be modified and converted into something else?? has anyone done this modification?? please advise!!

what year are you talking about? are the hinges broken or screws stripped?
you can get just the lid assembly for 400$ or you can replace just the hinge for ~40$.

If you have removed the passanger airbag, you could convert to the early glove box which has more room, all you would need is the inside bit, the front cover should be the same. If the hinges fell of or are roken, they shuld be easily repaired.
