Glass Micro Scratches/ Spider Webs

Has anybody seen or noticed this on their glass (windshield, mirrors or engine cover), there seems to be micro scratches/ spider webs on all my glass. If you look at glass in just the "right" lighting, it is almost as if it is "cheap" mirror glass from back in the 90's? And before you ask, I do not use sos/ brillo pads, I use Stoner Glass Cleaner with microfiber towels.

could they be microfiber filaments and not scratches?

Are you thinking the glass is porous, I don't get them on my other cars? Or just use a diaper?

I don’t notice spider webbing or scratches, but my front windshield is pitted badly.

Going to use old fashioned diapers tomorrow and see if that clears it up.
