I've started getting my car ready for NSXPO 2014. Last weekend I installed a new polished coolant tank, polished throttle body cover, and manifold cover plate. Of course those things are just for looks, but needed since I have the DownForce see through engine cover.
Today I installed some hi-flow cats from Pride Exhaust. They look sooo nice. It's a shame that they're hidden under the car. The old factory jobs weighed about 22 LBS, the Pride ones weigh a bit under 11 LBS, including the mounting hardware. I haven't heard how it sounds yet, as the car is still on the lift for tomorrows work.
I've got new front brake pads to install tomorrow, along with new brake fluid. I'm hoping to get Larry B to do the timing belt service soon, as that's not a job I want to tackle.
I'm looking forward to NSXPO, and seeing everyone there. I just hope the organizers announce the rest of the details soon. Howard

Sounds like you'll have most all of the bases covered for an enjoyable road trip to Ohio!

If you plan on hitting the track (as indeed you should.....Mid-Ohio is epic awesome) in addition to your new brake pads, ensure that the brake / clutch systems have been freshly flushed / bled with quality DOT4 fluid.

And a fresh alignment can't hurt!

Of course, a spare Main relay is always a nice thing to have stashed in the console or glovebox.

To the OP, contact Larry B asap. When he finished my car back in June. He mentioned that he was booked until October.
I had him take care of my car to get ready for xpo
