Purchased a home last month and I want to fix up the garage and display the red NSX. (Can you believe my wife thinks it's more important to do internal remodels?) It's a 2 1/2 car garage, with 20' ceilings, and from the floor to about 2 1/2 feet up to the baseboard it's brick that matches the outside of the house. There's wooden 6"molding between the brick and the sheet rock to the ceiling. Got that funky brown peg board on one wall.

Could you guys tell me what has worked for you? What didn't work? What you did that you wish you didn't do, or what you did that you are really pleased with? Cabinets, storage units you have and hate or love, and where you got them? Ease or pain in the butt to install? No, no lift here. There is a light with the garage door opener plus two 400 WAT ceiling lights.

I plan on painting the ceiling white, the wooden molding white, the walls a light grey, and doing a red and black check pattern plastic tile flooring.

Thanks in advance, and any photos would be appreciated. (Yes, I did a search, but it didn't explain what was good or bad, or a pain, or not worth the money, or hated what they did before, or wished they didn't or did do, etc..) And, yes anyone in Raleigh is welcome to help in the transformation.
