Few weeks back after a cold night my NSX would not start at all. I blamed the coil packs, and then I thought it was because I had bad spark plugs. Then it got warmer outside and after changing to new spark plugs it would start but not idle too good. After changing all the vacuum hoses and diagnosing every possible electronic sensor under the hatch it was bad idle motor.
In this pic it clearly shows a tear in it. I guess after 15years it was it's time to go bad. It is daily driven car and in NE the weather could change 30F overnight sometimes. Maybe in warmer weather this part would last longer. This was $250 and after changing it the car idles on the dime again
