Returning on Sunday late afternoon in the rain in the QE2, I linked up with TWO Ferraris! Both F430 Spiders. The road was busy, but these two cars both gave me the thumbs up and we ran together from Lacombe to Edmonton. Even at 140kms/hour the F sound is amazing.
A lot of fun.
Too bad it was raining.

Its always a blast to run into another exotic and they are nice enough people to go for a run with you or just wave! Here in Calgary its a rarity for me to even get a response from some of the F-car owners or even the odd NSX owner! Some people take life wayyyy to seriously  I did run into a cat with a 348 last year and he was way cool...we roared around Highway 8 slipping in and out of cars (safely of course) -

Your pics are way phat bro -

Dam - an X-men for life

140 is way too slow for me to read this thread......lol

Yeah, I had a "fun" drive up the QE2 to Pigeon Lake last weekend.

$179 for speeding; 139 (marked down fom 162) in a 110.
$179 for failure to produce insurance. (oops! Don't know why I never got a new one)
$115 for tinted windows.

Oh well.......

Ouch.

Sorry you haven't had a good past few days Ryan.

Hey Ryan..I am soooooo sorry to hear about the CLOWN backing into your car!! Holy Shit...do people actually not look around when they are backing up!! By any chance was it a woman? Or some ethnic person who has no concept of what an exotic sports car is? People are usually sooo careful around NSXs, Ferraris and Lamborghinis...except this idiot who hit your car...bye the way...where do you work - that someone would not know of your car...or be very careful around your car?

Dam - an X-men to the end

Need, who did it and pictures.
Sorry for your trouble man.

Ryan, sorry to hear about your bad luck.:frown:

Must of been hard not to shoot someone after your car was damaged. But on the bright side ... maybe you can get the front end repainted.

Yeah, the damage actually isn't much at all. If I didn't point it out, you probably wouldn't even notice. But yeah, it'll need a spray up front a bit.

Dan, you got an Element!?

NO DON'T SAY ITS TRUE - DAN GOT THE ELEMENT!!!
One more car and it could have been the FIFTH ELEMENT!

Yes I picked up an Element (or an "E" as it is fondly called) on Tuesday. This will eventually replace the Titan ... hoping to reduce my gas expense to something less than $800/month.

It is a great little vehicle and the manual is fun to drive. Lots of room which goes to show how effective a box is to carry things. Oh by the way .... it is very manly!
