yes, it has a raised area around where the fuel pump debre filter picks up at... its about 2.5 inches tall.this also helps to prevent sloshing the tank, by always having fuel in this mini baffled area right around the debre filter, so even on low tank levels, the pumps debre filter, is always submerged in fuel....getting the harnesses back on can be a pain, but its doable, also, get some tall jack stands.... we used 3 footers, and had the car about 2+ ft in the air to remove the tank...Also we utilized a floor jack, and a 4"x4" to raise the tank back into place, and get the harness back on with due to the tight compact space above the tank....HTHMike
