OK! I can say that going to NSXPO can mess up your head. As I was sitting on the pit stop watching the GruppeM exhaust drive by the front straight at 100+mph, I called the current owner of my last GruppeM V2 exhaust to offer to buy it back from him.

I want more!!! The endless chase for the "perfect" sound!!!!

So sadly, I have to try to sell this like new exhaust that I got so many compliments from.

Condition: excellent with original box

Price: $1400 (new $1800) + shipping

You are practically getting a like new exhaust for $400 less. With an NA engine and cats, the exhaust is barely broken in.

I'll try to take it off within the next couple of weeks and take some more pics. I installed it myself without any fitment problem.

Here are the pics when I was swapping out the GM when the Tubi was new:

I drove CDub's car last week and found the Tubi extremely nice. It is quiet at normal driving but lets out a very refined and Ferrariesque roar at WOT. The condition of the exhaust is like new and the person buying it will not be disappointed. The tips are beautiful to boot. I kept telling him to keep the exhaust but he wants to have Alex's GruppeM thunder instead.

Thanks for the compliment! I know how you feel about my decision. It is the endless quest for the ultimate setup.

Sigh! Unfortunately, it comes with a pretty big price tag. :(

Taitec GT parallel - 50 miles
GM V2 - 1500 miles
Tubi - 3000 miles
What's next? GM V2??

I love the look of the Tubi exhaust and would consider buying it. Please contact me at [email protected]
Thanks.

sent PM

(well at least I tried, but my computer is giving me troubles, please let me know if you didn't get my PM)

thanks,
Don

Sorry for the late reply! I'm in Scottsdale and will be here till friday.

So far, I have one "I'll take it", a few have inquired earlier without commiting on a price and a few afterward. I'll contact the "I'll take it" first and I'll keep you all posted.

Thank you so much for the interest!

One thing, it needs to fit a 1991 NSX with the 3.0l motor. I don't know what car it's coming off, and just realized it might not fit if it's from a newer 3.2l.

THX.

Yep, thanks!

We talked on the phone and it's just a matter of getting a shipping cost to Hawaii and getting the exhaust off his car. Then it's all mine.

Now I just have to find a Hammer and break that piggy bank of mine. Before I bought an NSX, I'd have gawked at anyone spending over $300 on a freakin muffler. Now look what I've done!

Savings = Savings - Tubi
Savings - Tubi = Zero
Zero = Me not eating in October
Tubi Exhaust Sound = Me :)

Dang, it looks new!

Just get me those shipping costs and I'll get you the money. I work Monday morning 10a-6p but am off Tuesday & Wednesday this week. Catch me at your convenience on my cell and I can send you the money on my day off. Leave a msg if I'm not available (going to movies tonight). Or e-mail me the details and where to send it. Want it express mail or just normal postage? I'm ready to do this like yesterday.

And your damn pics aren't making the wait any easier!

Thanks!
