I have a set that I bought from a NSX guy that I used on my S2000. I dont know if the gunmetal color is stock or if he had it powdercoated.

The fronts are 16x7 with 205/55ZR/16 Yokahama AVS ES100. Rears are 17x8.5 with 245/40ZR/17 Yokahama AVE ES100. The tires for the fronts are in good condition, while I just replaced the rear tires less than a month ago. I also dont drive the car very much, as it's not my daily driver.

I'm asking $1600 for the set, will not separate or trade. I'd prefer local Southern California, so that they can come check it out. But if there's no local, then buyer pays actual shipping charges.

You may want to check about the specs of the wheels, as the gunmetal (solaris silver) 94-96 stock rims are 16 x 6.5 and 17 x 8, not 16 x 7 and 17 x 8.5.

Also, the correct size for the front is a 215/45/16, not a 205/55/16.

I may be interested in the rims, but I don't want the tires.

Would you sell the rims by themselves, and if so, how much?

Edit-sorry, I guess I need to read your post more carefully about the separation issue. If you change your mind, let me know.

You might be correct on the specs of the rims (other websites say they are 16x7 and 17x8.5), but the tires on there are the sizes that I listed. I did say that I had them on my S2000, and replaced the tires. The sizes of the tires are also printed on the wheels.

If you're interested in the rims only, PM me with an offer. But I prefer selling the complete set rims + tires.

I did not mean to suggest you have listed the incorrect tires sizes for what are actually on the rims at present, only that the stock tire size for the NSX on those rims was 215/45/16 for the fronts.

As for the rim size, my understanding is that the 94-96 solaris silver are 16 x 6.5 and 17 x 8, and the later 97+ polished silver are 16 x 7 and 17 x 8.5. Believe me, I would prefer they were all 7s and 8.5s, as that would allow me to run 225/40/16 and 255/40/17 tires.

At the moment I am not in a position to make you an offer on the rims, as I don't know if I need them. I have a set right now that I am borrowing indefinitely (and will likely purchase at an extremely reasonable price), and they need new tires.

Here is shot of what those rims look like on an NSX (mine):

Actually, all 7 spoke wheels 94-2001 are same diameter, width, and offset.
They did not make them differently, only the finish is different.

I hope you are right, but John Vasos at AoB told me different. Can anyone confirm this with something official?

(PS-sorry for the edit, I meant to hit reply but hit edit and didn't notice until it was too late. Originally, the post above quoted my statement about the wheel size)

I just got back from Acura of Brookfield.

Initially it looked like the 16 x 6.5 and 17 x 8 were correct, as that was listed in the Yokohama catalog.

However, we went to the Acura Microfiche, and that indicates they are 16 x 7 and 17 x 8.5. I think that is the final word on this one.

:D
