Does anybody know if you can run a 225/45/16 on the front? The tire I'm looking at is a Dunlop SP9000, which I already have on the rear and they seem OK there, how about on the front? They don't make the 215/45 tire size. I have stock 94+ wheels. Thanks!

I'm running 225/40/16 up front on my '92 and I've lowered the car 0.8" with Bilsteins and I have no rubbing problems. The 45% profile is going to be 0.44" taller than the 40%. I know the 225/40/16 has the same rolling radius as the stock 205/50/15. Dunlop makes the SP9000 with the 40% profile as well as the 45%. Have you increased the rolling radius on the rears? You want to keep the % change in rolling radius the same front and rear so as not to confuse the TCS.
