Background:

-I had the entire front suspension (both corners, including uprights) off of the car getting new bushings put in.

-Steering rack bushings, tie rods and end links are all new, as are the upper and lower control arm bushings. The camber bolts are also new. Everything else is as it was prior to disassembly.

-I re-assembled and re-torqued everything to book spec.

What it's doing:

The car drives straight, doesn't shutter or anything, but I can feel the noise or the cause thereof throught pedals slightly. It is independent of turning, and only the driver's side makes the noise.

Notes:

It may be obviousl, but I just want to state that it was definitely not doing this before.

Video:

The noise I'm talking about is VERY obvious :)

::edit - sorry for the pic link. photobucket's embed code was being a dick::

If no one can ID this, my next step will be to start loosening things up and re-testing until I find the culprit.

Too hard to tell by the video. I suggest spraying silicone on all the joints one at a time until it stops and then checking that joint for probs. I had the same sound in my car when I first got it (1991 w/119K miles) and replacing the struts (they were worn out anyway) took care of it.
Good luck and Happy Motoring!

If you have urethane bushings make sure they are greased well with that really sticky white grease. Otherwise they will creak.

The new bushings are urethane, but with metal sleeves (similar to the factory bushings, only with poly instead of rubber.

Have you greased all the balljoints? I use a grease needle to do them.

Winner!

I think there was a centering issue with the camber bolt/LCA bushing. It actually quit creaking once I loosened the bolt. However, I greased it up anyway.

Note, I only greased the shaft of the bolt and the sleeve. I deliberately avoided getting any on the washer/mating surfaces to avoid camber slip due to the grease.

Cool, glad you found the problem. Always satisfying to solve an annoying squeak or rattle. :)
