I remember seeing a mod done to a NSX which had small wheels mounted on the bottom of both corners of their NSX spoiler. Does anyone remember what I am talking about? I am trying to prevent my spoiler front scraping as I back out.

You can get a set of skateboard weels and mount them on each corner.

You guys are kidding, right?

Knowing the 2 OEM and 4 RM front spoilers that I've replaced are pretty flimsy, I can't imaging mounting little bogey wheels to it in any way that would help. Maybe something mounted to the frame...

With the RM, you can break it pulling up too close to a curb or going up a steep curb, so a couple little feelers sticking out the front would be in order. Maybe a corner mounted camera, advanced radar system or a 5" front lift kit is the way to go.

But seriously, I have seen that all the new supercars have a lift for the front to keep from tearing off their spoliers - maybe we need an NSX kit for that.

I think that old thread showed a pic of a C5 Corvette that had the small wheels, not a NSX. I tried to do a search but I couldn't find it.

This is no joke. Many front spoilers are damaged due to the dragging force when contacting the ground. Small wheels are very good devices to reduce the friction and have saved many spoilers. I put small wheels on my Carrera before and worked wonders.

You just buy a skateboard take off the trucks and screw them to a strong spot that can take the weight of the front end.
Lambo owners are famous for this. Its a easy mod for the Diablo and works great. Allen were are you when we need you? LOL.:D

Does anyone remember where the pics are of the wheels mounted on the C5 Corvette? Also, the skateboard wheels seem to be too big for this application. Is there something smaller that I could use?
