Front spoiler fitment issues?

I just installed an oem front spoiler on my 1991 nsx and notice that the lip does not wrap all the way around. Same gap on the other side. Is this normal, or did I get the wrong part? I thought the front spoilers could fit all na years. I ordered part: 71110-SL0-003

That's exactly how mine fits. I have a 1991 but I'm pretty sure it's been replaced by the later model after the original for that year were no longer available.

I'm about to order the later specs front spoiler like this (only available) but wiil surely not if it looks like this.

I believe -0000 is fake.

My original front spoiler is still in place and this is the way it fits.
