Can't find the answer on FAQ or search. Can I still purchase a new OEM pre-97 (the thin one) front spoiler or is the thicker 97+ spoiler the only one available ?

I believe the earlier one 91-96 has been discontinued and in its place, the 97+. You might be lucky and someone might have one if you post in the NSX PART WANTED section. I think people sometimes replace it with the newer one b/c it looks better(subjective).
Good Luck

EDIT: Nimbus beat me!!!!! :p

Thanks. Can always count on MNSXPrime for help.
Do we still get any special deals on parts with any Acura dealers ?

Hmm, I think so. Or you could just go thru Dali.

would the 97+ fits the 91-96 without a problem?

South Coast Acura close to you gives NSXCA member discounts. Just be sure to mention your membership.

I picked up an extra front lip spoiler there just a month ago. The price they gave me was considerably less than all the other local dealers that I called.

How much? I'm in the market.

I think I paid $80 from the dealer with the discount for the '97+ model.

It must be a stupid question, how many inches is 97+ "taller" / "deeper" than the 91's??

mine was pretty scrubbed up by previous owner, I just tried sand and re paint it with low gloss black, I don't get too impressed withh the result and hoping to buy a new one.

It varies, because the chin spoiler of the '91 is a uniform height all the way around, whereas the '97 is short in the front and taller along the sides.

I've got the original from my '91 if you are interested. It's not in great shape, but if you really want the smaller one, you could give this one a shot and sand and paint...

I bought a spoiler from a local dealer in Seattle (Acura of Lynnwood) and I thought I was getting a great deal for me at $100. I heard the list price was $142....
I'm always looking for the "hook up" :D
