Front Head Light Cover

Can anyone tell me if this comes pre-painted from the factory?

I removed my cover to install my piaa whites and notices the back to be lacking in color. It was black but not fully and glossy. Does this mean the covers were replaced OR the car had been repainted?

This part comes from the factory unpainted. I have not seen it, but probably primed. There is only one part number to order.

So..... you may be correct.

Ok so its safe to say that the covers were replaced or re-painted?

The originals on the car would have been fully painted right?

I'm just hoping the car hadn't been re-painted or in an accident..

Mine are only painted on the surface/edges that curl around/under.

The underside of both my light covers are unfinished. I guess you could call it primered looking. I think they have part # information on them. I noticed that when I was putting in my HID's.

No paintwork on mine. (98-T)
