I have a noise coming from the front left side under the hood. It sounds like a belt squeal and comes on at various times. Since there are no belts I think it may be coming from the ABS system. Seems I recall someone here talking about the ABS system needed to be blead. Does anyone know???

Does the noise go away after a a minute or two? Sound a little like a bird chirping? If so, it is the ABS. Do you ever get a ABS indicator on the dash? If not it is probably working fine, just repressurizing occasionally, which is normal.
This will not start "chirping until the car is moving above 3 MPH if I recall. Mine starts at the top of my driveway

What is the mileage? It should be flushed/bled periodically. I do it annually myself, but also "excercise the ABS regularly.

Hmmm...interesting. I get this chirping too.
I thought it's the rotors because it usually happens after I wash my car. I also notice that it happens after I let the car sit for more than two days or so. But if I take it out the next day, it's fine.
Anyway, is this indicative of anything? And what do you mean exercise the ABS? Like hard braking?
