Saturday was a bad day... Headed down the highway to gf's house was abot 9pm and out of no where a fricking animal crosses the road. No time to do anything hit dead on cracked both upper and lower bumpers and almost ripped off my hide a plate. The impact actually cracked one of the feet on the radiator I temp epoxied it to get her home

Have two estimates. 3500-3800 to get it all fixed

My car is a 96 white lowered with wheels. Need some opinions on good suitable replacements. Looking for ideas

Is your insurance covering this or is it out of pocket?

You can keep you eye out for a used front bumper. There should be a couple of them out there since people do 02 conversions.

Another option is the Mode4 bumper. This allows you to keep your pop up lights.

Other option is to do an 02 conversion. But this would mean an new hood, headlights. You can either go with OEM or downforce for bumper. For the hood you have serveral options. Downforce, VIS, Seibon, OEM, etc.

I'm debating on the OEM front or aftermarket... I'm not looking to do the 02 conversion, the hoods already aftermarket..

Just looking for people's opinions on better front ends and where to get it?

Hear is what I'm working with right now.

Any ideas on the radiator??

Where can I get the Mode4 Bumper from?

You can find a used OEM radiator fairly cheap on prime.

Or you can buy an aftermarket one. I've seen them as low as $400 for aluminum ones. I forget which brand. KOYO i think. Search the Prime vendor section.

Don't buy a OEM new one; too expensive.

I don't have anything to offer advice wise, but I'm going through the exact same thing. I hit some trash in the road and it was just enough to crack my front lip, lower, and upper bumper cover. Similar situation as you, it was drivable but looked pretty bad up close. I found a black lower and upper bumper shell with OEM lip on ebay from an 02 conversion that I am currently installing.

I did the disassembly last night, going to get some misc push rivets, and a couple of missing bolts at the dealership tonight and then hopefully moving all the structural components of the bumper over to the new shell. If all goes well I will try to get the new bumper on tonight.

Let me know if you end up trying to DIY the project, so far it's not too bad just tedious. I have a feeling getting the bumper back on will be the hardest part, but the FAQ and service manual help a lot. On the plus side I used this as an excuse to finally get the STMPO chassis bar
