Looks offwhite.

I always wondered what it would look like with the trunk painted black with the black roof, CF hood and GT-one headlights. Blends in nicely. Nice job! Get an 02+ rear valance and you should be set.

Its the same championship white. I painted the trunk lid and nsxr spoiler berlina black to match the nsx-r hoor and black top. The turning signals also been shaved and installed the nsx-r side marker.

I like the view from the back

Car is beautiful, but that ass needs an 02+ update to match the rest of the car. Show and Go!

I agree totally - I've seen many ppl beefing up their cars but neglecting the rear and i just dont get it?
The car screams for some rear spats to match the flow of those low sides.

Other than that i like pretty much everything about it. Slick colour.

looks good!

For my own taste, I'd put on the white 02+ wheels or something else.
But if any color combo. can get away with those wheels, it's that one. Honestly I do like those wheels on it but that color will look good with pretty much any wheel combo. Sick car.

Thanks fellas. I wish I could share to you guys the A-10-tion that I get here at Pensacola. Im originally from San Diego area but long story short, I have to relocate here for work just like most of you guys who got relocated somewhere else for work. The NSX-R conversion is simply just beautiful... I park right next to a Gallardo and this guy whos walking aroung couldn't decide which car to check out first. His head went from NSX to lambo then snapped his neck again to the NSX. I love Socal but I like it here cause the rules are lineanth when it comes to rides. I took the NSX to a local meet and theres about 100 ppl there and believe it, when I rolled in with that high pitched noise with the BOV, every single one of them stopped and their eyes were tazed with the simplicity and beauty of this NSX-R Conversion. The local club lets me park the NSX on VIP spot, in the grass right next to entrance and the bouncer is on the watch. As I left, most of the guys are holding their girls tight as if I was there to take them.... This NSX is pimping me out. 230 AM, I rolled to the other club as they are closing. I caught everyones a10tion outside by the same high pitched noise with BOV. and sure enough, they were walking on the street instead of sidewalk. I redline right next to a group of girls and few of them screamed as if they just wet their g-string:biggrin:   I am really happy that I did the conversion here at Pensacola cause the rarerity is much rmore than in socal.

Thanks... It did blend in really nice. I should have bought the 02 rear valance but i was already down and the clutch must be first than the valence.

Thanks koolaid. I still have my white Volks F1 challenge and I will put them on again. I love These wheels B/C of the phat lip. pics prior to paint.

Why does your avatar say Pensacola, FL and the car has California plates on it.
Riding dirty in Florida... I just registered the car under FL so next pics will be diff plates.

what side skirt kit is that?
how was install and fitment?

The side skirt is Marga Hills. I did some research before I the the purchase. It is up to you on how to install this skirt as I have seen in the past, some used rivets and rivitted them to Al panel (ouch). I installed the brackets with 90 degree bend Al and carefully measure them for fitment. Theres four brackets by the door jamb, one at the rear and two at the bottom. This skirt is not going nowhere. BTW, it will also be up to you on the door jamb... I will take pics on how i installed the brackets but i did modify the door jamb as I want that sill plates to be on the NSX.

what was the original color of the car before? and how much did it costs for repainting? looks sick.....!!!

Thanks.... The original paint was championship white. The cost of the paint was 3k. I didnt have to paint the door jambs so I did save money on that. If I did the whole car in and out, It would have been 1.2 to 2 k more

i actually think some of Stacy's spats would look 10000000000000 times better than the 02 rear end...

i love the black center part of the old rear on white.... the spats would blend the side lines into the rear, and not look *added* like a wings west

looks good jack

Thanks marc... Ill check on stacys spats. I agree with you and I do like the black rear valence because the vent is horizontal to the NSX and not vertical like the 02 style.

That car is HOT AS HELL!
I like the headlights just as they are.
I do agree that rear spats or an 02 rear update would finish it off nice.
The wheels are awesome too!
Great job!

All the best,

Nate in DC

i know this is old, but u sure your car is painted championship white and not grand prix white? car seems to be pure white which would be the factory grand prix color code and not champ white
