I have kind of a dumb question about carfax report if anyone can educate me. I ran a VIN and it shows Private Use registration, what does this mean??
Carfax says, "Private Use - Vehicle was registered by the owner for private or personal use."
What's the difference between this kind of registration and the one on our cars?

I just ran a slew of VINs and found out that a 94 I was considering has a major odometer rollback. So I x'ed it off of my list asap. I'm going to be looking at another 91 later today that turned out clean on the report.
