Found the ferrari crash video

Fannsx,

Your link works for me, thanks. I couldn't get the other links to work before so I finally got to see it. Intense.

Yes Iain, your link works fine. I guess I was unclear as to whose bad link I was referring too. My appologies.

That video is horrifyinig. I can't believe the lack of attention the ground workers gave to the flag and the wreck. No wonder the driver won his case.

why does it upset people so much when something is reposted. Not all of us check Prime every day, so I miss somethings from time to time. Not to mention, with new members every day sometimes a repost can bring new perspective to the conversation.
If you don't want to read it...move on!!!

Usually people dont get mad when you say you searched and did not find any other post on the subject and to be safe I always say " Sorry if this is a REPOST"

Is that what I get here as commentary when I try to be helpful?

just search it

Sometimes people get excited to find new info or new data and wanting to share with everyone here at Prime.
The 'repost' comment can be such a blow of disappointment to some.
I know my crash video is a repost, but the other links did not work for me,so I assume others had the same problem.
I dont usually take it personally, but sometimes it can be disappointing.

Well, I for one enjoyed the link. Thank you.

I've had that disappointing feeling a few times also when I've asked a question or made a comment that someone else brought up 2 years ago.

I try and do searches before asking advice, but the search tool is not always great about zeroing down the topics. I may search for "caliper paint" and get 25 threads just because someone said "caliper paint" in the thread. I don't always find what I'm looking for.

I'm sorry that some feel like it's a waste of their time to read and respond to a question that's been asked before. I do appreciate when they take the time to give me the link to a simular question (NSX-racer  )

JMO

No offense, but for people who check new posts at Prime regularly, (some do so few times a day!) and devoted their time to help the community, answer questions like "what tire should I use for 17 front?", "what's snap ring, how much to fix?" It's getting old pretty quick, and will bore people and not attacting them to check out Prime as often... put it that way, maybe the couple minutes he/she spent on checking on your repost could have better use on some other member's question... Does it make sense?

I believed the biggest issue about "repost" is that the limited space Lud have, please keep in mind that most of us join here for free and there's no pop up or banners/sponsors, so we will appreciate more new info and input to better help our members.

and now, back to our regularly scheduled thread:

as a non-racer, i find it incredible that the ferrari driver was alive after that crash... unreal.

thanks for sharing.
