I live in Marin County, and when I got my NSX last year, I was hoping to find a qualified mechanic who was closer to me than Hilltop Auto in Daly City. After some digging around, I finally found a guy: Steve Lite, who runs Steve's Auto Care in Novato.
Steve is a trained NSX Master Tech, owned a 1995 NSX himself, and in the 1990s and early 2000s, worked at Marin Acura and Torrence Acura.
He is knowledgeable, honest, and very reasonable. So far, I've only had him do simple maintenance stuff and he fixed a tricky electrical issue, so I can't vouch for heavier mechanical work yet, but just talking to the guy and watching him inspect my car for the first time, it was clear he knows his stuff. He actually doesn't work on a lot of NSXs, I think mine is only the second one he regularly services, but I see no reason not have complete confidence in his abilities.
