Forwarded message: Request for NSX owners for research event Aug 19

I am passing on the following e-mail despite having a few questions about it. I have no idea if this is legit - maybe someone good at ferreting out scams can look into it and report back.

The reason I am slightly skeptical is that despite having a domain name for e-mail, if you go to www.pcgresearch.com it redirects to a blank geocities.com site, and the e-mail actually originated from a yahoo.com webmail account despite the return address and "from" header. So I am guessing that the domain name is really just an e-mail forwarding service.
